In ancient times, Maharshi Vyasa composed the cosmic plays of Lord Shiva in Brahmottar Khanda of Skanda Purana in the Sanskrit language. Later, in the year 1640, Shridhar Swami with the divine inspiration from Lord Shiva described the same cosmic plays of Lord Shiva in Prakrut which is a vernacular based on Sanskrit in his book named “Shri Shivaleelamrut”. |
