The book conveys the Divine Message, narrated by Lord Shiva Himself. It helps you to choose right path towards Supreme Truth - the Lord. The book also includes the easy milestones to reach Him and the description of various sinful acts possibly committed by man, leading to the sufferings and sorrows. Later he wants the Lord to forgive him. In the Book, various means and ways are described, following which man comes out of the influence of his sinful acts or misdeeds. Keeping in mind about KALIYUGA, the machine-age, where people have limited life spans, and are already preoccupied with many more activities in life, it has also given right ways to follow and reach Him.
This 435-pager is divided in 15 Adhyaya's (chapters) and it preaches a universal message of leading a better life and in the process help others to do the same. The original scripture for this book was written by Maharshi Vyasa in Sanskrit that spread across four vedas and 18 puranas. It was later elaborated and written in Prakrit language (simpler version of Sanskrit) by Shridhar Swami in 1640 and was named as ShriShivaleelaamrut. Since then this book has become the spiritual backbone of millions of followers around the world. |
